When the tires are spinning again in Kelheim, the bows are swinging and festive music sounds through the streets, the time has come: The Kelheim Schäffler dance returns.
Every seven years, the Schäffler dance transforms the Kelheim carnival season into an event that moves the whole town and centuries-old tradition with a lively community and genuine joie de vivre.
For weeks, the dancers and musicians transform our city into a stage full of verve, color and history - an experience that inspires.
Look forward to a cultural highlight that will make Kelheim's heart beat faster and show once again in 2026 how lively tradition can be.
