Kelheim - Regensburg

From Kelheim you can continue the tour on the Danube cycle path via Bad Abbach to Regensburg.

This stage of the Danube Cycle Path leads from Kelheim in Lower Bavaria to Regensburg, the capital of the Upper Palatinate. Along the way, you pass the south-eastern foothills of the Bavarian Jura and enjoy some bizarre rock formations. From the market town of Bad Abbach, the route continues along beautiful riverside paths towards Regensburg. At the Iron Bridge, from where you can enjoy a wonderful view across the Danube to St. Peter's Cathedral and the Stone Bridge, this rather short stage of 38 kilometers comes to an end.
