In Hienheim, where the Roman border wall Limes merges into the so-called "Wet Limes" (Danube), you can take a detour to the reconstructed Limes watchtower. Then take the ferry to Eining and stop off in the cozy beer garden by the ferry. After a visit to the Abusina Roman fort in Eining
The tour takes you back to Bad Gögging. Finally, we recommend a visit to the Roman Museum of Spa and Bathing in Bad Gögging.

Approach to Bad Gögging:

Arrival by car from the south Direction Munich: A 9 (Munich-Berlin); at the Holledau junction take the A 93 towards Regensburg/Wolnzach/Hof; exit: Siegenburg and then turn right onto the B 299 towards Neustadt a.d.Donau/Bad Gögging.
Arrival by car from the north Direction Nuremberg and Berlin: A 9 (Nuremberg-Berlin); exit Denkendorf and turn right towards Riedenburg; via Pondorf towards Neustadt a.d.Donau
