Ever since I was a child, I have been fascinated by my home town, its incomparable landscape and its rich history - from the Neanderthals of the last Ice Age to the Celts, Romans and Bavarians. The history and stories of all the people who once lived here and left their mark. So I let myself be guided by this fascination and "turned my hobby into a profession".

I would be delighted to take you on a journey to our ancestors, whether in our museum or outside at the original sites, e.g. the huge Celtic oppidum on the Michelsberg or in the Altmühltal Archaeology Park. Let's spend an exciting hour or two together looking for traces of the past and listening to stories about mammoth hunters, amber traders or the men from Baibari.
