The Kelheim folk festival is more than just a festival - it is a piece of home. When the fairground is filled with music, laughter and cheerful hustle and bustle, the best time of the year begins for many. Tradition and joie de vivre go hand in hand here and create an atmosphere that unites generations.
A varied supporting program makes the Volksfest something very special every year: from the Permanent move-in about the Festival Queen's Meeting, atmospheric concerts and convivial morning pints through to the Day of companies and authorities, the solemn Festive service and exciting tournaments. This makes the Kelheim folk festival a place of encounters, community and unforgettable experiences.

Register now and secure your spot. For those who decide at the last minute, spontaneous registration on-site is also possible until 11:00 AM.
All senior women of Kelheim and Seniors aged 65 and over from the urban area, including the districts, receive a voucher from the city of Kelheim for 1 Maß of beer or another drink and half a roast chicken with a bread roll. The distribution of the vouchers is handled by the Senior Citizens' Advisory Council of the city of Kelheim in Entrance area of the beer garden in front of the marquee for the people of Kelheim, specifically from 12:00 – 3:00 PM.
Important info: Anyone who prefers not to eat their roast chicken on-site is welcome to take it to go. The chicken will be available until approx. 5:00 PM (while supplies last).
This year as well, voucher tokens for the Kelheim Volksfest can be purchased in advance.
