Mrs. Kolmer

Born and raised in Tyrol, I have lived in Kelheim for almost 40 years. The town has grown close to my heart and has become my second home. I love walking through the Weltenburger Enge nature reserve (Danube Gorge) and discovering new, beautiful places in and around Kelheim.

If you would like to know when, why and what the Liberation Hall and why King Ludwig I chose Kelheim as the location for this beautiful building, I will tell you about it during a Guidance more on the Michelsberg.

My personal favorite places during a City tour are the Old Harbor of the Ludwig Danube Main Canal, the Old Market and the Weisses Bräuhaus. At these and other historical sites, I will tell you about the history of Kelheim, from the Celts to the Wittelsbachs, from the time of wine growing to the brewing of beer.

I would very much like to pass on some of my enthusiasm for Kelheim and the surrounding area to you and am therefore looking forward to an interesting and entertaining guided tour with you.
