The motorhome site "Am Pflegerspitz" is located on a headland between the Danube and the Main-Danube Canal and is accessible all year round.
The motorhome site can be used all year round without interruption, despite the festivities on the Volksfestplatz.
There is of course the possibility of water and electricity supply, as well as waste water and sewage disposal.
The toilet facility is located approx. 150 m on the other side of the "Kleine Donau". The quickest way to reach the toilet facility is via the wooden bridge opposite the "Vivido" pizzeria.
When planning the parking space, attention was also paid to the green feel-good factor. Trees and various plants thrive in the center and in the turning corners of the pitch. In addition, each plot is bordered by a beech hedge. Another advantage is the pitch lighting.
Please note that it is not possible to reserve a parking space. If the parking space is fully occupied, you will find an alternative parking space at the Volksfestplatz / parking lot P3 in the immediate vicinity.

Please note that during events at the adjacent Volksfestplatz or Sportinsel area, it can get a little louder and the sanitary facilities are a little busier. Parking monitoring system at the "Pflegerspitz" motorhome parking area:
Two cameras scan your license plate number both when you enter and leave the parking space.
You have 30 minutes from the time you enter the motorhome parking area to find and occupy a suitable parking space and buy a parking ticket at the parking ticket machine, stating your license plate number.
If the motorhome parking space is fully occupied and you leave within 30 minutes, your license plate will be scanned when you leave and you will not be charged.
If a parking ticket is not purchased or is purchased too late, a penalty fee will be charged. The fine notice will be sent by post by PRS Parkraum Service GmbH.
You can book a stay of up to seven days in one transaction at the ticket machine. After the seven days, you can extend your stay and buy a new parking ticket.

The alternative parking space is not affected by the closure.
Note for severely disabled persons with a disabled parking permit
Severely disabled persons with a corresponding severely disabled parking permit can register in advance (please note the opening hours) at the Kelheim Public Order Office with appropriate proof (e.g. by sending a photo of the severely disabled parking permit) and stating the intended period of stay. The public order office will store your data accordingly so that you can park your motorhome at the parking space free of charge for the specified period.
