Venison direct marketing from the state forest

At the headquarters of the Kelheim forestry operation at Hienheimer Straße 14, fine venison from roe deer and wild boar can be purchased all year round.

The venison is guaranteed to come from the state forest around Kelheim. The game is hunted in accordance with animal welfare standards and transported to the forestry company over a very short distance, where it is processed in accordance with legal requirements and the strict game hygiene guidelines of the Bavarian State Forests. And as the game feeds on a varied diet of local herbs and grasses in the wild, the meat is particularly tasty.
