• 170 parking spaces (including specially designated parking spaces for the disabled and buses)
• Chargeable (parking ticket required) during the summer months (mid-March - Oct inclusive), 7 days/week - including Sundays - from 08:00-18:00); free parking possible from 18:00-08:00.
• Please note that parking is free of charge during the winter months (Nov - mid-March). You will always be informed in good time with our Kelheim app. Special feature: Please also note that flooding can occur here in the event of persistent heavy rainfall. Payment by debit and credit card is also possible at one of 5 machines. With the moBiLET app, you can also buy your parking ticket via your cell phone. Important when paying in cash: Only possible with coins - bills are not accepted and machines do not change.

Idea parking lot system of the city of Kelheim:

The Danube foreland parking lot 4a is primarily intended for tourists (i.e. excursionists, hikers, boatmen and visitors to the old town) from April to October. From here it is only 1 minute to the Old Town (South Entrance - Donautor).
