The kick-off begins with an after-work event. At the Company curling tournament the focus is on team spirit and winter fun. Atmospheric music accompanies the evening and creates a cozy atmosphere to round off the evening together.

On both mornings, the ice rink belongs to the school classes. With enthusiasm and lots of movement, the children bring life to the Alter Markt - a cheerful hustle and bustle in the middle of the old town.
When the lights dance across the ice rink in the evening and music sounds through the old town, the ice rink becomes a dance floor. Young and old skate their laps to the latest hits during the disco run - an experience that makes you forget the cold and promises pure winter fun.
The sporting action continues on Saturday. Under the motto "Team spirit, marksmanship and lots of fun!", the town of Kelheim and Zukunft Kelheim e.V. cordially invite you to take part in the first Kelheim Club curling tournament to participate.

The crowning glory is the Sunday open for business. This offers you the opportunity to take a leisurely stroll through the festively decorated stores in the old town and enjoy the winter flair to the full.
Following a successful premiere in 2025, there will be an ice-skating rink in Kelheim again in 2026, but in a new setting: under a tent roof at Niederdörfl.

The food and drink is of course taken care of: around the ice rink, the surrounding restaurateurs and local clubs treat visitors to mulled wine, hearty snacks and winter delicacies.
The clubs also make a significant contribution to the success of the event off the ice - from ticket sales to skate rental and bar service. The proceeds flow directly into the clubs' coffers and thus make a valuable contribution to supporting local club life.
