Five Rivers Cycle Route LK Kelheim

Length: 81 km

Five Rivers Cycle Route

The Five Rivers Cycle Route is a very scenic and culturally attractive cycle route through the landscape of the Altmühl Valley and the Bavarian Jura.

The cycle path, which runs along five rivers and is therefore largely flat, is a circular route consisting of individual supra-regional cycle paths along the Danube and Altmühl/Main-Danube Canal, Pegnitz, Vils and Naab through the natural landscape of the Bavarian Jura and the beautiful Altmühl Valley. You can experience this unique cycle route from Nuremberg via Kelheim to Regensburg and back again. In the district of Kelheim, the Five Rivers Cycle Route between Regensburg and Kelheim coincides with the Danube Cycle Route and between Kelheim and Dietfurt with the Altmühl Cycle Route.
